Algo8 AI secures final approval to list on CSE
An industrial AI company bringing its plant-floor software to public markets this week, under a new CSE listing.

Algo8 AI Inc. received final approval from the Canadian Securities Exchange to list its common shares under the symbol "AIOS" (CUSIP 016917106, ISIN CA0169171067), with trading expected to begin on or about October 13, 2026. The listing follows the October 6, 2026 closing of a previously announced plan of arrangement under which the company acquired the Algo8 business.

Shares issued to former Algo8 Industrial AI Inc. shareholders and finders in connection with the arrangement, representing approximately 66.06% of the issued and outstanding shares, are subject to restrictions on transfer. Founders, management and advisors are restricted from trading for the first 12 months after listing, with shares released in stages through the 36-month anniversary of the trading date. Shares issued to Chemelex LLC and finders carry a shorter lock-up, releasing 50% six months after the trading date and the remaining 50% at 12 months.

The company's PlantBrain industrial AI operating system has more than 80 deployments across the steel, tire, automotive and energy sectors, according to the release, with operations across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The release said customer engagements have expanded from single-site installations to multi-site programs.

Among those engagements, the company cited a Phase 1 multi-plant deployment with a global tire manufacturer, under an initial contract valued at approximately $4.0 million, plus the potential for recurring support revenue. The release's forward-looking statements caution that this potential recurring revenue may not be realized.

The release also cited a $2.79 million strategic investment in the company from Chemelex LLC, without stating when that investment was made relative to the arrangement or the listing. The company's leadership includes Co-Founder and CEO Nandan Mishra, a graduate of IIT Kanpur and a former Google Maps engineer; Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer Himanshu Singh, also an IIT Kanpur graduate; and President and Director Brandon Kou, formerly chief executive of the publicly traded Leef Brands.

Trading in Algo8 AI's shares is expected to begin on or about October 13, 2026, on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol AIOS, with the listing completing the company's transition to a standalone, independent publicly traded entity following the arrangement.

To verify independently

  • The count of more than 80 PlantBrain deployments and their sector and geographic breakdown rest on the company's own disclosure.
  • The approximately $4.0 million initial contract value with the unnamed global tire manufacturer is as stated by the company; the release itself flags potential recurring support revenue as uncertain.
  • The $2.79 million Chemelex LLC strategic investment figure is as stated in the release, which does not say when the investment occurred relative to the arrangement or listing.
