Hole 26MN-125 at West Pit returned 24.85 g/t gold over 1.22 metres from 150.88 metres within the Gold Hill Formation. Hole 26MN-121 at Black Mammoth returned 1.37 g/t gold over 17.07 metres from 275.54 metres within Zanzibar Formation mudstone, including a higher-grade 17.04 g/t gold over 1.07 metres at the brecciated contact between the Zanzibar mudstone and limestone units. The company said the results were verified by Leo Hathaway, P.Geo., its executive technical director, through review of laboratory certificates and field logs, inspection of blank, standard and duplicate sample performance, and chain-of-custody records. The release said assays have now been reported for 115 of the 122 holes drilled in the Phase Two program, totalling 33,379 of 35,844 metres, with results pending on the remaining seven holes.
Manhattan carries a maiden inferred mineral resource estimate of 740,000 ounces of gold, from 18,343,000 tonnes grading 1.26 g/t gold, with an effective date of June 4, 2025 and a technical report dated October 23, 2025. The project includes the Goldwedge mine and four past-producing pits across a 4,780-hectare property in which Scorpio Gold holds a 100% interest.
The company said it has scheduled a sonic drilling program, due to begin before the end of October 2026, to provide an initial test of the grade and tonnage of Manhattan's historic heap leach pad, tailings pond and low-grade stockpile. It also said it continues to evaluate underground mining potential at Goldwedge.
